Not an awful lot done today. Got extremely annoyed at Cineworld because their ticket booking system is exceptionally shite. You can't use the website to book tickets, you have to phone one of those crappy information/booking lines. Not only are you unable to skip minutes worth of verbal guff ("press '0' to go to the booking office at any time, apart from during this bit where I'll blather on pointlessly about not very much for a couple of minutes, nor indeed the next bit where we tell you to press '2' for extra instructions. I'm not sure why we bother to ask as we're going to tell you in any case, just to make sure. Have you lost the will to live yet? No? Don't worry, in a few more minutes you will have."), but to add insult to injury you inch your way through the system, putting in your details, the tickets you want, when you want them, confirmation, etc. etc. etc. only to be awarded with "the system is currently being upgraded. please try again another time."
Needless to say, we didn't end up going to the cinema today.
Grrrr.
