Not all that much to report, really. I'm currently about a third of the way through a major redesign of my site (probably my most ambitious in over 4 years), am in the process of registering a domain name for my game (to be unveiled shortly), and trundling along on a number of other things, none of which are particularly compelling. "Election fever" is currently "gripping" the UK at the moment, with the general election due for next Thursday (which'll be interesting as I'm moving to the Millbank offices, directly opposite the houses of parliament, a few days before). It amuses me (well, makes me dispair, actually) that a politician can punch a man in the face and (according to himself) increase his popularity whilst a teacher who drops her towel on a "reality tv" show faces the sack on her return. What a fucked up, retarded bunch of cunts live in this country. Better yet, they're running the place. And the icing on the cake? The masses love them for it.
In other news, I've unsubscribed from the "bluewave-survivor" mailing list - I just don't identify with it any more (if I ever really did). Admittedly, it's cool to "see" people I've a great deal of respect for and worked with for ages, but the overall tone is negative - after all, I have no genuine reason to bitch, which tends undercurrent any activity on the list. I'd quite like to set up a "people I like" list, but that's probably a bit too self indulgent - and who'd really want to belong to a list like that? Maybe a better idea is a "people we like" list, where if I like you and you like someone else, they are invited to join 8). Let's see how many people we like. Such is the nature of cliques and secret societies... but there's always the chance it'd become a movement 8)
