End of the month. Hardly

End of the month. Hardly seems like a few weeks since the end of the last one. 8)

But quite a bit has happened, on the whole. Not that I can remember any of it now, of course (aside from the obvious life-change this month!). I'm in an unusual mood. I'm looking forward to being able to work on the commute again. And I'm addicted to fresh-brewed tea.

Things have been chugging along in the background on the DVD List front. It's been accepted as a sourceforge.net project, and I'm in the process of organising that. It'll all soon be cvs'ed, auto-installable and properly back in development again, hopefully within the next couple of weeks. I've looked at the competition, but (call me biased!) I'm quite happy that this one is significantly better than the alternatives. The demo will be up and running before you know it!

I'm back on ICQ again at work, after a long time off (UIN: 561458). I've discovered a gorgeous GPL'd clone for Win32 called Miranda ICQ. It weighs in at about a 350Kb download, is ultra fast, and uses the Windows 2000 alpha channel for some surprisingly nice transparency effects. OK, so it isn't as "featureful" as the Mirabilis original, but it supports all of the features I ever use!

I've also found a decent, free SSH1/2 client for windows. It's called PuTTY and it's the best SSH client I've used on Windows since Secure CRT.

Anyway. Must be toddling off - stuff to do... 8)
