Earlier this afternoon, Thomas and I sat down and watched Star Wars - The Phantom Menace on DVD. Yes, I know. "Jar Jar Binks?", as the comic book shop owner once said in "Spaced" (Season 2 - which should be out in time for Xmas. Yay!).
But anyway. Whilst watching it, I noticed that certain scenes were not quite as I remembered them - some were different, some were longer... one that particularly sticks in my mind as not being in the original film was Anakin (during the pod race) reattaching a loose pod using the force (or a big magnet on the end of a stick - not really sure which it's meant to be).
I've heard all about "additional/deleted" scenes, but I wasn't expecting them to be slipped into the original movie. Not that I've looked at the deleted scenes yet - they might be totally different. Is my memory really that bad?
Bah. I'm going to have to go and look now. sigh
