MT, or "Movable Type" as it's properly known is a perl-based blogging system written by Ben and Mena Trott. It's staggeringly good on just about every level - powerful, well written (a rarity), easy to set up, and the support is superb. I can't recommend it highly enough - it's that good. 8)

Obviously, nothing can beat a home grown original for doing exactly what you want it to do - but I really don't have the time to sit down and work out anything beyond the bare basics.

I'd still like to have a nosey at your code though, Steve 8)

and saves using an outside website to publish to your own (and saves you writing your own tool, which the chances of me doing are pretty silm !)
