Spaced: The Complete Second Series

This is fantastic. Buy it right now. Watch it ASAP.

Really.

It's one of the funniest and most brilliant things you'll ever see. Don't worry if you missed the first series (which was very good, brilliant in places, but not a patch on this).

I know it sounds like I'm gushing... sod it, I am, who cares? I can't help it. You won't see anything better this year. Possibly any year. I promise.

Seven episodes of unalloyed delight. Classic comedy. References that will make you howl. You'll break into spontaneous applause. You'll hug your knees. And you'll love every minute.

It even features the bloke who supplied the voice of Darth Maul in "The Phantom Menace". Yes, I know... But take it from me, this is a good thing (given the context!).

Please. You have to see this. Even if you've only caught a few minutes of either series here and there, and didn't think it was anything that special. It is. Nothing can prepare you for this.

I'll stop now. This is getting embarrassing. 8)

I've never even heard of this - looks like it didn't make it over to Sweden then! However, isn't the guy in the bobble hat on the cover the guy who presents Scrapheap Challenge?

Now that's quality TV! Scrapheap Challenge I could watch for ever! Thank the stars for Discovery Channel!

I have a feeling that the bloke who presents "Scrapheap Challenge" is Robert Llewellyn (Kryten from Red Dwarf).

I just read the blurb on the blackstar link, and it makes it sound really shit.

Ignore that, take my word for it: it's great!

This is probably a more useful link. But Blackstar have much better service (and no one-click patent nonsense either!)

Gush away, Chris. At least you save me from embarassing myself by doing so.
I mentioned this to 'El Gato' Smith the other evening, and he admitted he wasn't really into Spaced. Mad fool.

It had its moments, but I really just didn't find it grabbed me tbh. Although I did like the mad artist bloke, very surreal.

Black Books, on the other hand, is utterly, utterly brilliant!

Oh and Steve, you're right, Scrapheap Challenge is excellent - I spent a very pleasurable thanksgiving lying on a waterbed watching it for about 4 hours straight; they were doing some sort of marathon on cable.

Spaced is brilliant. I missed most of the second series for one reason or another, but when I have the money I'll be buying those videos.
