Quietness Abounds

Very little has happened in the last week or so that may be worthy of comment; that which might be worthy of comment I'm not inclined to write about. 8)

But on the whole, it's been very quiet round these parts of late. I've installed mandrake 8.2 on my notebook (which actually worked very well) after upgrading to Partition Magic 7.0 so that I could resize my windows partition. Mandrake picked up all my hardware (including wireless, and built-in ethernet drivers, irda, sound, graphics - you name it) and is the first distro I've used that's done that. 8)

Mozilla ate my bookmarks (1.0 rc1) which was a bit annoying to say the least, but since I did have a fairly recent backup it wasn't quite as painful as it might have been.

And finally, I've managed to catch "24" on TV - very good it seems to be, too - thanks to jon for continuing to plug it on his site. 8)

That's about it really.
