Cockle Fighting is possibly one of the most pointless "games" ever to appear on the internet. However, it's also one of the most addictive, for reasons that completely escape me. It's utterly fantastic. It's equally dreadful. And overwhelkingly compelling.

Yea i used to be an avid cockle fighter. yes cockle not coccle you illiterate peoples.. but it shut down.. no clue why.. i woulda payed a few bucks a month to waist my time in such a pointless way. it was truly sattisfying.. pitty it has gone.. somebody needs to donate a server.. i'm starting a COCKLE FIGHTING CHARRITY FUND. Better than being able to offer a server, me and my friend are undertaking the huge project of remaking the game and then hosting it, we will add new things, and new options, but still give that cocklefighting theme, you can look forward to the same, babyish type graphics! if you have any weapon ideas, or defence item ideas, email me with them, if i like them, i will implement them into the new game, which is as we speak being developed, many graphics have been made and the site design has started...
eta for this? few weeks, or maybe like a month or two.
Our Aim: Too make a cocklefighting BASED game, which is updated almost everyday. with some new features in, but leaving the cocklefighting feel, we aim too keep old cocklefighting members too like this, and people who used to play its oppinion will be took vastly into account. We want to give you the enjoyment cocklefighting did, and more!
Why are we doing this?
Both me, and the webdesigner, (i being the artist) were very much so avid cocklefighters, the game was great, when the game went down we were sadened, and so would like to bring it back up, run it well, as much too satisfy our own hunger for this game, as that of the user.
Do we want too make this game better than before and do we want our users to help decide the way we develop this game?
YES! we're making the game in such a way we can implement any systems, and easily change them, we can add items in seconds and we wanna put new features in, whether they stay is up to our user.
Regular Updates will come here. so keep an eye on this.

We will probably bring it up as a different name, We don't want to infringe on ANY copywrite laws. We will have a proper .com .co.uk or .net domain, depending on the name we choose and availability of the domain for that name. I'm trying to keep the old style of Cocklefighting graphics Which in itself is a big challenge because i find them hard to mimick the style so the graphics are slightly different but have a similar feel. We plan to introduce 'exclusive' models of cockles etc, which will basicly be, if you signup in the first X People (number not yet finalized) you can choose from the exclusive cockle which will never again be able to be chosen, and we will have things like that.
We're going to have a proper forum unlike the old cocklefighting chat, although we may add that in also as an Un-moderated feature which would be fun.
Features we may add too see if they work:
- Jewelry , like armour but these can add to your attack, agility, or other stats while worn
- Drugs, Same as jewelry depending on which drugs you buy, however, work only for a certain ammount of fights. then you need to buy some more for the desired effect again.
There is alot more we are thinking of adding at least for the start, the greatest thing, is the way we are coding it we are able to add / remove / edit any feature VERY easily, which will make this the most balanced game there can be. We hope to add so much more which you should like but we WILL still keep the old feel of cocklefighting.
Wow look at me, im spend all this time typing here, when really, i should be making more graphics, currently im making about 10 an hour which is quite good, some times more.
Anyway better get back to it and i'll keep you informed.

No reason Scuba equipments as Defence or Attack items cannot be implemented, i don't think we will name is Banzai-cocklefighting though. thanks for your input though :)
Developmental update: The bulk of the game, is being coded, this coming week! The coder has alot of time this week so maybe it will be playable next week :)

the news section on the front page is done and there is some sample artwork!
Signups on it are disabled and you cannot currently access the members area (the game) however we will be posting updates there regularly along with more item samples etc. So please take alook the link is:

Ok, its still coming on, the hosting has been weird but its coming bak up soon. Signups open maybe within a month... However the forums up in around a week.
We will keep it as much like the old cocklefighting as we can, but we will then change things and as we do we will ask the players if they approve we will do it so we can make changes to anything so that the player (you) like the game as much as possiable.
Loads of things we are going to test are all worked out and some being coded.
So please, check bak at the site a few times itll be bak up soon.

ok latest news regarding cocklefighting.
Cocklefighting is currently down, the hosting we had has collapsed we are still working on cocklefighting at a better rate than ever, but we have decided we will get hosting up when we have a semi-playable game completed.
We will have this done as soon as it is possible.

Hey peeps.
No those posts arnt all that recent, we're looking at a coupla months old.
Heres the situation:
Some coding has been done a copy of it is with the coder who WAS writing it. Yeh i say was as he has bailed out for the moment, due to alot of work at college.
I hope to this summer, learn PHP and continue with the game, i will be taking a college course in PHP and the game WILL be brought up!
The reason i have to wait until summer is due to the fact that at the moment i am very busy doing alot of wrestling shows up and down the country, thats right, Auron is a wrestler :P
But again i appologise for the delays, i will soon get onto it!!
i will post here AS SOON AS the making commences and i will look bak here every so often to see any responses to this.
In the mean time theres a pretty good game over at: http://www.u-dominion.com/ If you play this you can see some of the direction the new cocklefighting will take. It will not be the same, it will not work like this in full, it WILL still have the old cocklefighting style, but some features i hope to implement are present in this game, and its pretty good! so play away :)
