A Walk in the Dark

Walked home from the hospital through the dark streets of Luton this evening, as they were resurfacing the roads and there wasn't really any massively suitable point where I could have called for a taxi. It's quite a distance too. My happiness at the £8.00 fare I saved tempered only by the relief felt at making it home alive. 8)

Unfortunately, Milly's back in hospital with her asthma. She's a lot better than she was this morning, having been on the strong drugs and oxygen, but fingers crossed she'll be home either tomorrow or Wednesday. Poor lil' thing. 8(

Anyway, after getting home, I caught up on the current events of the day. My hilarity glands went into overdrive when I saw this. At least they'll be able to get rid of that godawful corporate anthem, and replace it with something by the Boomtown Rats. Oh, the fun people (and their competitors) are going to have with that one... 8)

Poor lil' thing indeed. Hope she's better - I know what a really bad attack can be like - and it's not fun.

Well, good news is that Milly's back to her old self (i.e. full of mischief) and all being well, will escape tomorrow. Yay! 8)
