Classical Music Quiz

How well do you know your classical music?. It's an easy quiz (I got 11/11 with my limited knowledge, so it has to be) but quite good fun to do. Kids don't seem to be as exposed to classical music as these days as much as they used to be, at least that's how it seems to be. I guess music lessons in the classroom have gone all "trendy", examining the work of P Diddy and Eminem rather than Mozart or Beethoven. I mean. Really.

Here in North America, the situation is even more abysmal with quite a large number of people never having any exposure to it at all. I have noticed when meeting people from continental Europe, especially Hungry and it's neighboring countries, that the people living there are far more culturally developed than your average citizen here in Canada. Interesting, as we live next door to the hub of consumerism and corporate control. I guess classical music (and other arts) just arn't as sexy as they used to be. 'Nuff said.
