Lightweight

Well. Lighter weight, anyway. Since embarking on my effective but strangely unfashionable "Eat less and exercise" diet, I've actually lost a stone in weight! That's fourteen pounds, or 6.35 kilos if that's your preferred unit of measurement. I've still got some way to go in terms of hitting target weights and whatnot, but at least I've managed to negotiate the first part of the journey in any case 8).

I also found a CD this evening (of various odds and ends I'd collected over a period of several years) that I'd given up for lost almost two years ago. Astonishingly, it turned up in a pile of CDs that has been in plain view for almost as long; I'd even labelled the darned thing, so I knew what was on it. Wonders will never cease!

Congrats on the lost stone. Now, go to the grocery store and buy 14 lbs of potatoes and carry it around for a day to remind you of exactly what you accomplished.

I'm only down 10lbs or so, but with a bit more perseverence and ice cream avoidance can do better ...

Congrats Chris! That's good going mate. You're right about the method you've chosen being unfashionable. Strange to think it's pretty much the only way that actually works (apart from radical surgery maybe).

I'll look forward to seeing a new improved Carline when I'm in London next ;-)

Great to hear you are leaner and fitter Chris. Have gone that direction myself due to my new employer. Cheers, D.

nice one chris, my own crusade to get back down to my fighting weight (rather than tv watching weight) continues... and eating less + exercise is the best way...

;-)
