Being typically crap, I hadn't gotten around to mentioning that I saw Rufus on Wednesday for a spot of lunch at a nearby pie room. It was great to catch up again face to face, as it had been far too long since the last time. 8) Hopefully, next time will be sooner rather than later...
In other news, I have an extra DVD copy of "Clash of the Titans" (region 1) that if anyone would like I'll happily part with for a tenner. I managed to order it twice (doh!) and although I can still return it and get a refund, I'll probably not get around to it for ages and it'll just sit there for weeks. Yes, I know it's not the best film ever made, but you've got to love a film with a mechanical owl in it. 8) Email me if you're interested...
Oooh! I can name another film with a mechanical owl - Blade Runner.
(And doesn't one of the Wizard of Oz films have a mechanical owl too?)
Unfortunately I don't have a DVD player (well, apart from in my 'puter), so I'm not in the market for the disk, but I do love Harryhausen films! I think I saw Clash of the Titans in the cinema when it was released!
