Matrix Revolutions

Terri and I decided to see Matrix Revolutions whilst we were in Dublin, a few days ago. I was dimly aware it was Not Well Received (*sigh*) and went into the movie with spectacularly low expectations.

I can only wonder why.

Better than Reloaded on just about every level, everything rattled along at a fair old pace and whilst I'd admit there's quite a lot wrong with it (e.g. why don't you just die already?) I really felt that, overall, it was great.

clearly you watched a very different movie from me.

Nah, I doubt it. But my expectations were so low I was mildly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. A far better film than Reloaded, despite the flaws. Still, there was a lot not to like - I just chose to let those bits wash over me rather than allow them to get on my tits. ;-)

A little more judicious editing could have done wonders for this movie...

yeah, about half an hour or so of cuts would have certainly sorted out a lot of the major problems.

alternatively just a very a different script ...

Mike ... not sure I understand your comment.

Are you alleging it had a script? Shurely not?!

it's preferable to believe that than imagine people "improvising" such crappy dialogue!!
