I am not dead

Posted at 10:43 AM on 28 February 2004

I have just been very, very busy recently. Hence the lack of updates...

I'm still planning a relaunch Real Soon Now, I just have some integrationary bits to work out. The new layout and so on is all done, and I think it all looks very nice indeed. :-)

Not that I have time to do any of this of course, as I'm still busy on other stuff, but even so... it's nice to dream that one day, I might have time to finish it off... :-)

It's been cold recently, hasn't it?

And just in case anyone feels like installing AIM 5.5/iChat beta 2.1 and a webcam/microphone I can now videoconference from my computer as I'm now the proud owner of an iSight. This is a most excellent piece of equipment, now all I need is someone to talk to ;-)

In my wildest dreams ;-) I'm still trying to get someone to buy me a powerbook to replace the iBook which died again (two weeks after getting it back from Apple)...

is it me, or is everyone just stupidly busy at the moment, everyone i know seems to be very busy and walking around in a half zombie like state (ok the last bit might just be me)

once i've saved the money for an ibook i'll get an isight and we can iconference (or something) just got to finish building this last pc (issue with fitting heatsink after consuming too much wine... new one arrives tomorrow)

That'd be well cool - get Mike to bring you one back, works out at £80 rather than £129 if you get one from the states... :-)

Oh yes, whilst I remember - iSights are currently incompatible with PCs due to drivers not being available...

Dear Chris,
I have been researching the Carline family tree on and off for some time and wonder where you and your family fit in? I have traced back to Ledsham in the 1700's but am particularly interested in the expansion of the Carlines of Leeds in the 19th century (at the moment!!)My immediate family are from Manchester and back a generation from Leeds. The same Leeds generation moved to Stockton on Tees in the 1800's.
Would love to hear from you when you have time.

best wishes Anne

i don't belive that you are dead ur all dead

somepeople see ghosts. others don't. i don't. i know a person who's grandma is dead. i don't like funerals. i once bought a conchibasa last week but it died very quickly.

the other day i went down to the club and i met a girl. i am a american hero. to all heros. i just lost my car yestarday but i found it. i like to play with dead grass.

hello !

Wow !

I also have a surname "carline" - Wonder if we are a relation.

Do you know anyone from around the Hull / Yorks area ?

My dad was called Alan Carline and his did was a fisher man in Hull called Walter.

Mark.

I didn´t realise there were so many Carline´s south of the border. The clan is growing North of the border and is directly linked to those in Newcastle.
