Pity my poor neglected site of recent times. I'm going to fix it, honest, but I'm rubbish, and can never seem to make the time. There's always something else I need to do first. Must try harder.
Partly to blame for all this is my trying to make short films (suitable for DVD distribution). Now, I'm not terribly satisfied with my efforts thus far (and in fact, have had to spend rather more than I'd like getting to a point where I'm at least vaguely happy with what I've come up with). But it's quite good fun, and certainly forms a substantial diversion from my usual leisure activities of sitting at a computer and twiddling away. Um. Erm. Well, maybe not that different... Erm. Oh.
You'll also be pleased to hear that I've replaced the pair of bathroom scales as broken by one of my small children with a snazzier, more accurate pair. Who'd have thought there was an entire Internet site devoted to the sale of such object d'art? Nevertheless it exists, and it's here. Good service too. If you're ever in the need for a pair of bathroom scales, or indeed, any such related weighing device, you can consider these chaps. Although subscribing to their weekly newsletter may be taking things a bit too far, even for me.
Actually, re-looking up the site, I found that they have competitors vying for the UK bathroom scales market. I'd never before imagined such a niche could be so competitive. I bet they subscribe to that weekly newsletter, oh yes sir.
ahem.
Do I have any other news? Well, I have lots of vague tidbits but the thought of posting them here for Google to pick up seems not terribly alluring, so one of the things my new site does is enable me to activate different content depending on whether you're friend, family, or just some random person off the Internet somewhere (but not Google). All very exciting.
Now, if I could only pull my finger out and finish off that last 10% I'd be laughing...
Or at least, you'd be laughing at me :-)
