I'm doing well, aren't I?
Oh well, it's still December. Yawnsome Shayne won Pop IdoX-Factor, and made the Christmas #1 with a song that sounds like a particularly shite Gary Barlow B-Side.
On the bright side, at least it's not a Phil Collins song.
Anyway, I'm bored of watching reality-TV singing programmes now. They're too dull, too safe. Nobody ever does anything interesting on them, apart from (possibly) Chico -- who really only appealed to kids and the mentally infirm. So I've been thinking about auditioning for the X-Factor 2006 competition myself.
No, really!
Though having said that, I've been trying to think of what song I should audition with. I've pretty much narrowed it down to Nine Inch Nail's "Closer" (I think Louis, in particular, would appreciate that), or possibly the seminal Keith Harris/Orville collaboration, "I Wish I Could Fly" -- a song shamelessly ripped off by that famous "Leader of the Gang", R Kelly. The biggest problem with that song though is that it's a duet.
So I've been thinking about hooking up with the "Chicken Man" (famous for auditioning with 'Barbie Girl' a couple of years back), but I don't know his email address, or even if he's on the Internet. Heck, I don't even know if he can read.
Anyway. Suggestions welcome.
